With over 15 years of public relations experience, Molly brings a diverse background to her role as Head of West Coast (formerly Senior Vice President), where she is responsible for developing opening strategies and executing press campaigns for clients, and assisting with new business development. Since joining M18 in 2014, she has overseen several industry leading-hotel portfolios. Her work at the agency has involved the execution of over 25 successful opening campaigns, generating media awareness for the individual property as well as further establishing her clients parent companies and brand. Prior to M18, Molly managed several of Sean MacPherson’s highly regarded hotels, where her work included the launches of the Marlton and Ludlow properties in New York City.

Alex Stein, Head of Social Media at M18, has an extensive background in real estate, hospitality, professional photography and media, which he applies to the company’s work on a broad range of real estate and hospitality projects. Prior to joining M18, Alex was Director of Brand & Digital at Brown Harris Stevens, where he oversaw all digital initiatives for the company, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Prior to that, Alex worked for companies including BFA where, as the Director of Social Media, he facilitated campaigns for major brands and events and introduced an ambassador program to the agency. Additionally, he has led social media strategy for a variety of hospitality brands. As the first Social Media Editor of lifestyle publication Gear Patrol, Alex introduced Instagram-exclusive content series which won the site a Silver Telly Award for Social Video for “Best Use of Vertical Format.”

JOEY ARAK 
PARTNER

Joey Arak, Partner at M18 and co-head of the real estate practice, joined the firm in 2011 and has lead communications campaigns for many of the firm’s high-profile real estate developments both domestically and abroad. Combining years of journalism experience with over a decade of public relations expertise, he has been an integral part of the company’s growth. Prior to joining M18, Joey was the editor, lead writer, and main creative force behind Curbed, where he established the Curbed New York website as New York Cityʼs top real estate and neighborhoods blog, and the most popular publication within the Curbed Network. He has been quoted as an expert on real estate in publications such as The New York Times, New York Magazine, New York Post, and the New York Observer.

KAITLIN KOMINSKY
ASSOCIATE PARTNER

Kaitlin Kominsky is an Associate Partner at M18, and brings over a decade of experience in the luxury hospitality space. In addition to developing and overseeing national press campaigns, she works closely with the executive team on company growth and new business opportunities. Kaitlin has extensive experience with creative branding strategy, crisis management, and synergistic partnerships. She has lead PR campaigns for market-leading hospitality projects in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and Boston, among other cities. Kaitlin spearheads day-to-day management of M18's hospitality division out of its New York office. Prior to joining M18, she managed publicity for Standard International which operates hotels in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. She also produced events for a leading roster of clients in the fields of hospitality, fashion, and design.

NICOLA AMOS
ASSOCIATE PARTNER

Nicola Amos is an Associate Partner at M18. Since joining the agency in 2014, she has been a co-head of the firm's hospitality division and supported company expansion by serving a client base both domestically and abroad. With extensive experience in media relations and curating events for leading luxury clientele across the hospitality and fashion industries, her core areas of expertise lie in conceptualizing strategic launch campaigns, increasing brand recognition for clients, and actualizing creative and synergistic partnerships for hotel brands. Prior to her role at M18, Nicola was responsible for managing media relations for André Balazs Properties (which included Chateau Marmont and the Standard hotels in Los Angeles), and worked for select fashion houses in the United Kingdom.
